Quality Technician

As our new Quality Technician
, you will be providing hands‑on quality and technical support across our value streams — from statistical process control and complaint resolution to production audits and continuous improvement initiatives. As a key part of the Quality team, you'll create impact by driving measurable improvements in product quality, customer satisfaction, and manufacturing performance through data‑driven analysis and cross‑functional collaboration.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Provide quality support to Value Stream teams by developing, implementing, and sustaining quality processes and practices
• Conduct statistical process control activities, assist in implementing control plans, and perform data collection and 5W2H analysis for scrap reduction and supplier improvement
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing quality performance, identifying root causes of negative trends and recommending corrective actions
• Ensure non‑conforming parts are isolated and appropriate corrective actions are taken promptly
• Support Quality and Manufacturing Engineers with ECM implementation, Value Stream Analysis, and production process audits
• Assist Customer Complaint handlers with complaint resolution and support NPI activities to ensure product quality and reliability

Above all, you are a detail‑oriented quality professional with strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and organizational levels. We would also imagine that you have:

• A High school diploma or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 2-3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of quality systems, processes, and statistical process control methods
• Ability to work fully onsite in our Fresno plant

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience with cross‑functional team collaboration and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with NPI processes and engineering change management
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to create reports and maintain consistent communication

The salary range for this position is $30.00 to $41.00 per hour. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.

Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.
