Full-time
Salary range: $17.85 to $27.20 per hour; hiring range for new employees generally $17.85 to $22.53 per hour, DOE.

This is a Section 8 and Tax Credit property. Qualified candidates will have 1+ year of related apartment leasing experience and knowledge of affordable housing. Tax credit and/or project-based Section 8 preferred. COS certification preferred.

Position Overview

The Leasing Agent I/COS is directly responsible for marketing and leasing the property, and for providing resident relations services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and create advertisements
  • Provide property tours and show model unit
  • Log all traffic, complete follow‑up, process rental applications, and prepare leases
  • Collect deposits and conduct unit inspections
  • Conduct market surveys of competition
  • Participate in property inspections, move‑in/move‑out, and aid residents with move‑out process
  • Participate in re‑certification process
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of related apartment leasing experience/COS experience
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Knowledge of affordable housing
Background Check Requirements

EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who receive a conditional job offer. Successful completion of background checks, verification of education and employment history, and, if applicable, fingerprinting are required for employment.

Drug Testing

All candidates who receive a conditional job offer must submit to drug testing within 72 hours of accepting the offer. EAH Housing does not test for marijuana/cannabis.
