• Oversee all shift activities, including cost controls, inventory control, cash management, and customer relations.
• Set an example for staff, enforce policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from the crew.
• Handle staffing, paperwork, food management, adherence to standards, marketing, and profitability while ensuring work schedules are met.
• Maintain store cleanliness, image, and overall standards, as well as provide great customer service, attendance punctuality, and reliable transportation.

Many team members progress from delivery driver to franchise owner. Positions include Assistant Manager → General Manager → Franchisee or Manager, Corporate Operations.

• Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product, receive and process telephone orders, and take inventory with associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility daily.
• Receive training and orientation on the job.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Perform accurate math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and make correct monetary change.
• Use motor coordination to rapidly and accurately make precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Navigate maps to locate addresses within the delivery area, including multi-story buildings and private homes.

Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when handling trash and performing outdoor tasks; in-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler to over 90°F in some areas; exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts; exposure to adverse weather during delivery, driving, and couponing.
