Cashier - Part Time

About the Role

As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. While the focus is on cashier duties, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. Internally, you are referred to as Front End Team Member and report to the store management team.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, and answering inquiries.
• Promote the loyalty program and conduct bagging of products.
• Deliver exceptional service and personalize the experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of work experience, with 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Passion for best‑in‑class customer service and a team‑player mindset.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on your feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

• Pay Range: $17.86 – $21.43 hourly.
