Salary Range: $18.00
The Cashier/Sales Associate (CSA) will be responsible for meeting the day‑to‑day operating expectations, including providing excellent customer service to guests, maintaining cleanliness and safety of the store, and ensuring a presentable food area for the preparation and service of products. The role requires knowledge of the resort and surrounding area to provide accurate information to guests.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties- Comply with all Convenience Store operating policies & procedures.
- Manage the cash register throughout the shift, ensuring the money stays balanced and customers are assisted in a fast and accurate manner.
- Assist with inventory spot checks as requested by management.
- Stock products on shelves and maintain a clean, professional store appearance.
- Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service to store customers, vendors, and staff.
- Maintain a clean, customer‑friendly environment inside the store and surrounding property.
- Verify appropriate age with a valid restricted sales (tobacco and alcohol).
- Monitor cash over/short and inventory shrinkage.
- Attend safety and operational store meetings as requested.
- Ensure all items are prepared and presented to specifications.
- Maintain proper appearance and a clean, neat uniform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve car wash related issues as needed.
- Prepare shift reports at the end of shift as per company policy.
- Engage in additional projects assigned by store management.
- Possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Available to work holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Can professionally write reports and correspondence.
- Can work collaboratively and independently with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong customer service, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
- Can work efficiently in a fast‑paced, stress‑filled environment.
- Has demonstrable knowledge and is willing to train on cash handling, counting, and making change; can operate a cash register.
- Has demonstrable knowledge of computer software and POS programs.
- Has Safe Serve Certification.
- Knowledge of food preparation and operation of cooking equipment (microwave, oven, hot pans).
- Can read and follow all food safety directions.
