As an Ambassador you will drive sales by connecting with customers, sharing vendor product knowledge, and upselling. You will cultivate repeat clientele, act as the expert for your vendor/brand area, and provide customer insights to leadership and the vendor community. You will also execute strategic merchandising initiatives and execute vendor and non‑vendor events to increase sales.

• Provide an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the customer is always the priority.
• Greet customers, make product recommendations, and upsell.
• Serve as a liaison between designated vendors, personal stylists, and the store leadership team.
• Maintain a neat and clean sales floor with proper signage for sales and markdowns.
• Create and implement best practices to drive sales, turnover, and gross margin above company average.
• Build brand‑specific clientele to support local marketing.
• Execute vendor and non‑vendor events to increase sales.
• Actively plan, organize, and lead customer‑facing vendor‑sponsored events in partnership with the vendor community to meet sales and participation goals.
• Be proficient in Macy's point‑of‑sale systems and company devices to wrap up sales efficiently.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

• Demonstrate ability to build relationships and convert customers into clients.
• Exhibit an energetic and positive attitude.
• Possess vision and creativity.
• Self‑starter, able to work independently and as part of a team; excellent time‑management skills.
• Effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers, and all levels of management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative across departments.
• Comfortable with computers, mobile devices, and frequent use of radio‑frequency equipment.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Minimum one year of previous selling or retail experience required.

• Lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands.
• Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
• Reaching above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.
