E. Shaw Avenue Space E-16 - Responsibilities:
Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, assist with gaming needs, inform guests of promotions and promotions; recommend additional items; maintain selling behaviors during every transaction and thank guests for shopping at Game Stop;
Support the overall shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business;
Process guest purchases/returns via POS system accurately and efficiently;
Respond to guest comments or questions in person or on the phone and escalate issues to Store Manager as needed;
Promote Game Stop’s guest benefits and loyalty programs;
Assist Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates in policies and procedures;
Monitor associate performance and provide feedback in partnership with Store Manager;
Ensure onboarding and compliance training for new associates prior to opening/closing shifts;
Ensure staff are knowledgeable about policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethics;
Schedule associates to meet operational needs and maintain adequate staffing;
Supervise staffing levels to maximize guest service and assist in achieving sales and shrink goals;
Manage payroll-related tasks and ensure accurate timekeeping;
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines;
Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily;
Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention practices;
Communicate concerns to Store Manager;
Assist in meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals and complete administrative duties;
Perform store inventory counts and restock merchandise as needed;
Balance and reconcile daily transaction totals in POS system;
Complete closeout paperwork and manage cash deposits;
Verify shipments and record discrepancies in POS system
