We are looking for a Bulk Deli Cheese Clerk to join our El Super store operations team. This position will assist customers, maintain the cleanliness of the Bulk Deli, and support the bulk deli operations under direct supervision.

• Assist customers throughout the shift.
• Clean, fill, and rotate the cheese and deli displays.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the department.
• Replenish product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager.
• Work a morning shift that includes physical tasks such as lifting (up to 60 pounds) and standing, walking, and kneeling in a fast‑paced grocery store environment.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
