THE ROLEYou are one of the faces of Fresh Kampo to the marketplace. You build customer relationships, create new business opportunities, and help expand existing partnerships across retail, wholesale, food service, and distribution channels. You are not simply taking orders. You are identifying opportunities, solving problems, coordinating with internal teams, and helping customers grow their berry business with Fresh Kampo. When opportunities arise, you pursue them.
When challenges occur, you own them. When customers need solutions, you deliver them.
This position is based at our Fresno, California office and requires employees to work onsite. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, relationship‑oriented, and motivated by growth. They enjoy building new relationships, creating opportunities, and working collaboratively across departments to deliver results. They are self‑motivated, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment where initiative and execution are highly valued.
What You'll Own- New customer acquisition and business development
- Growth and retention of assigned customer accounts
- Customer pricing, programs, and commercial negotiations
- Sales forecasting and customer demand planning
- Market intelligence and competitive analysis
- Cross‑functional coordination to ensure customer success
- Customer issue resolution and service recovery
- Trade show participation and customer visits
- Identification of new growth opportunities across all channels
- Consistently growing assigned accounts year over year
- Developing new customer relationships and revenue streams
- Maintaining strong customer satisfaction and retention
- Driving profitable growth, not just sales volume
- Improving forecast accuracy and execution
- Building long‑term strategic partnerships
- Becoming a trusted resource for both customers and internal teams
- Have 3+ years of experience in fresh produce sales or account management
- Enjoy building relationships and earning customer trust
- Are motivated by growth, competition, and achieving results
- Can confidently negotiate pricing and commercial programs
- Take ownership of problems and follow through to resolution
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment where priorities can change quickly
- Work collaboratively across Sales, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Quality teams
- View customer success as your responsibility
$80,000 - $120,000+ (Base pay, commissions, bonuses); no cap.
