About the Role

The Gold Bar Spirits Company Inc. is seeking a results-driven Northern California Regional Manager to own sales execution across Key On-Premise and Off-Premise Independent accounts throughout the territory. You'll also support Regional Chain accounts and major chain activations as required — serving as a boots-on-the-ground champion for the entire Gold Bar portfolio. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll be the primary liaison with SGWS distributor field teams, driving brand-building execution and point-of-purchase wins across Northern California.

You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary contact for SGWS distributor field-level teams across Northern California.
  • Partner with the VP of Sales to develop and deploy distributor sales plans, programs, and incentives.
  • Collaborate with the National Merchandising Manager to build best-in-class incentive and merchandising programs that maximize consumer awareness for Gold Bar brands across independent accounts.
  • Champion On-Premise and Off-Premise Independent Retail efforts to win at the point of purchase for the full Gold Bar portfolio.
  • Drive backbar placements, drink list features, and on-premise activations across key accounts.
  • Manage Regional Chain account priorities and support major chain activations as required.
  • Manage account, customer, and channel priorities alongside distribution targets.
  • Manage national and local POS consistent with brand merchandising standards.
  • Measure and evaluate sales program performance; deliver actionable feedback to key internal stakeholders.
  • Train, motivate, and hold distributor sales and merchandising teams accountable to maximize brand-building efforts.
  • Develop Individual Growth Plans aligned with Gold Bar's broader development strategy.
  • Help implement, monitor, and manage Gold Bar On-Premise Sales Training Programs in partnership with the VP of Sales.
  • Collaborate with the Gold Bar sales team to share best practices and ensure consistency in programming execution.
  • Connect with external contacts including distributors, customers, and demo agencies.
  • Represent the Gold Bar brand with excellence at consumer events.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of beverage alcohol or consumer products sales experience, with demonstrated success in On-Premise and Off-Premise channels in California.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Solid knowledge of the three-tier distribution system and the Northern California market.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with SGWS distributor partners, key regional accounts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting Regional or National Chain account activations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and sales training capabilities.
  • Collaborative team player who prioritizes the broader Gold Bar business over individual territory metrics.
  • Clear, candid communicator — confident as a brand spokesperson at consumer events.
  • Business acumen: able to interpret financial data, manage a budget, and drive sales and marketing growth while building brand equity.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to prioritize data, identify solutions, and commit to action.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid California driver's license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds as a regular part of the role.

In accordance with the California Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act (SB 1162), the pay scale for this position is $90,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The Gold Bar Spirits Company Inc. also offers health, dental, 401k and car/phone allowances.
