Job DescriptionAs a Software Sales Representative, you will manage an established sales territory while pursuing new business opportunities. Our customers include some of the largest and most innovative fresh produce growers, packers, shippers, distributors, and cold storage facilities across the U.S. and internationally.
Responsibilities- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Famous Software’s products, pricing, and customer base
- Develop relationships within a diverse sales territory, collaborating with current and potential customers to assess their needs
- Conduct tailored product demonstrations, both in‑person and virtually
- Keep accurate sales records using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and project management tools
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in technology
- Consistently meet or exceed defined sales targets
- Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Major, Minor or focus on Agriculture, Business or a related field is a plus
- Previous sales experience in the Agriculture and/or Technology industries preferred
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team‑oriented environment where no two days are alike
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills, with the ability to address challenges efficiently
- Self‑motivation, time management, and a keen eye for detail
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel as required
At this time, Famous Software does not offer relocation packages. Additionally, telecommuting is not an option for this position.
