Reporting to the Supervisor Security, this entry‑level Security Officer is tasked with protecting life and property at Saint Agnes Medical Center, ensuring the safety of colleagues, patients and visitors. The officer will prevent theft and vandalism, detect hazardous or unsafe conditions, and work with behavior health patients.

The incumbent will perform security duties and general responsibilities of a security officer under the supervision of the security supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to remain customer focused and calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Valid California Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Current guard card registration with the State of California, Bureau of Security, and Investigative Services.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card, required upon hire.
• Basic knowledge of criminal and civil laws, basic investigation skills, and behavior health experience preferred.

$24.06 – $32.49 per hour
