Duties and Responsibilities:

Travel between sites in a patrol vehicle and conduct foot patrols with speed and precision.
Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Complete all patrols on the Run Sheet assigned to each Patrol Beat.
Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas on foot to detect and deter unauthorized activity.
Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including alarms and other calls for service.
Assist other Patrol Officers with calls when additional assistance is needed to ensure officer safety.
Observe and report information for CIS Security clients.
Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
Must hold a Bureau of Security and Investigative Services ("BSIS") Security Guard License or be eligible to obtain a Security Guard License. Applicants with VALID guard card are preferred.
Prefer one or more years' experience as a Security or Patrol Officer, but not required.

Part-time positions range from 16 to 29 hours per week.

Candidates applying must be able to work one or a combination of the shift(s) below:

Swing: may work 6 to 8hrs between 12:00 PM - 3:00AM
Grave: may work 6 to 8hrs between 8:00 PM - 9:00 AM

Must be available to work weekends

Working days and shifts are subject to change

Actual start and end times will depend on the sites assigned
