The pay rate for this job is $19 - $23 / hour*

• Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards
• Maintain community grounds, trash management, and curb appeal
• Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as needed
• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
• Report violations of lease and house rules
• Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant's maintenance needs are being met
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
• Maintaining excellent curb appeal

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• 2
  -5 years of relevant multi-family apartment maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Minor repairs (e.g., wall patching, doorknob fixes), Appliance repairs, Unit turnovers, Work orders
• Basic computer and technology skills, including the ability to navigate web-based applications
• Strong customer service skills when working with both internal and external customers
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills: able to follow directions and accept constructive feedback
• Availability:
  Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• On-call availability as needed
• Valid driver's license
• Background check and drug test required
