As a Senior Field Performance Technician, you will take charge of managing, scheduling, and executing all service and warranty‑related tasks. You will work independently and collaboratively within the Performance O&M team, engaging closely with customers, the Branch Manager, Senior Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and the centralized scheduling Field Service Team.

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule effectively.
• Collaborate with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor, and Branch Manager to allocate labor resources for service and warranty projects as needed.
• Assist in training and developing Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Conduct regular meetings to align and educate the local field service team on best practices.
• Support onboarding and training efforts for new members of the field performance team.
• Consistently exceed defined goals for key performance indicators, including turnaround time and average dispatches completed.
• Contribute to tasks such as inspections and site audits as assigned.

• 1 - 3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma is required.

• Must maintain a clean driving record and pass a background check. Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
• Valid state or local Electrical Journeyman certification or license preferred; in some states, it may be required.

• Knowledge of the NEC and relevant codes and standards.

• Hands‑on Electrical/PV Installation Knowledge:
  Understanding of current NEC codes, ability to interpret drawings and PV systems, knowledge of solar interconnection principles, and basic construction principles.
• Adherence to safety protocols and encouragement of safe practices.
• Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Results‑oriented with a proven ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the capacity to make logical decisions and troubleshoot effectively.

• Ability to transport materials and equipment for job tasks, up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to work on rooftops with varying angles and surfaces, requiring bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, and maintaining balance.
• Aptitude to climb ladders safely.
• Comfortable working outdoors under varying weather conditions, including noise, heat, cold, humidity, and wet environments.
• Regular use of fine motor skills for hand functions, including manipulation and grasping.
• Ability to maintain balance on roofs and in elevated areas.
• Ability to distinguish colors, such as red, black, yellow, white, and green.
• Capable of working in confined spaces, such as attics and crawl spaces.
• Able to hear verbal commands and warnings.
• Comfortable working with chemicals using appropriate safety protections.
