We are a water filtration company looking for a Service Technician to provide maintenance and repairs on our water dispensing equipment located in a local health food store in Fresno, CA
.
Hours: Part‑time, Non‑Exempt, as needed per assigned store(s).
IMPORTANT:
Service Technicians are not guaranteed a set number of hours of work each day, week, month or year.
Rate of Pay: Starting at $55.00/hr, DOE
Benefits: Not eligible, except for paid sick leave, as required by state law and local ordinance.

- Regional Service Coordinator or Field Service Manager
Provide scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency maintenance/repairs to the Company’s equipment. The Service Technician will build positive relationships with customers and store management. The Service Technician will provide timely communication when the company requires emergency maintenance/repairs. The Service Technician will communicate with the company while on site during assignments and after each visit.
Responsibilities- Maintain good workmanship practices.
- Ensure the Fresh Pure® dispensing cabinet area and backroom processing area are dry, tidy and clean upon departure.
- Provide preventative maintenance: changing filters, UV lamps, batteries, tanks, upgrading equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting: reading and reporting pressure gauges and flow meters, detecting leaks, using a multimeter, performing water sample tests such as TDS and pH.
- Make repairs: stop leaks, tighten fittings, replace fittings, valves, tubing, electrical wires, and components.
- Receive a Work Order/Service Request for work that needs to be completed.
- Communicate with Supervisor on time‑frame for completing the Work Order/Service Request.
- Call Supervisor for instructions on completing the work while on site.
- Complete all Work Orders/Service Requests.
- Call Supervisor when arriving on site to complete the work.
- Ensure the system is fully operational and that there are no leaks when the Work Order/Service Request is complete.
- Communicate with the store personnel and relay information from the Company to the store personnel.
- Sign the water dispensing cabinet store Inspection Card posted on the side of the water dispensing cabinet.
Note:
This form must be signed every time you service the equipment. - Report and correct any additional conditions that impact the system functionality, equipment serviceability, appearance and/or customer dispensing experience.
- Obtain prior authorization from the Company for any materials (including parts and cleaning solutions) purchased; submit store receipt for reimbursement. The employee will be compensated for mileage and driving time at the applicable hourly rate.
- Handle occasional emergency service calls during normal or off business hours.
- Aim to have a Service Technician on site within 24‑48 hours or sooner for emergency calls.
- Taste the water.
- Call Supervisor before leaving the store location.
The Company reserves the sole discretion to assign other duties and projects to the employee that are not specifically outlined in this statement of duties but are generally consistent with the position as a Service Technician.
