The primary role of the Mechanic/electrician II is to lead the maintenance team and support company objectives by maintaining and enhancing equipment to meet production requirements.

• Set up, repair, install, and maintain machinery equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; perform preventive maintenance and continuous improvements.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical malfunctions and participate in plant shut‑down maintenance work.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install mechanical/electrical systems using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance managers, and master mechanics on projects.
• Document and communicate repair status and events to improve problem solving.
• Adhere to plant safety, food safety, SQF, and audit requirements.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to read, write, and interpret English documents.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of manufacturing equipment (3‑phase motors, control wiring, 24

• Experience with controls for conveyor systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and valves.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and use measuring tools and test equipment.
• Experience with lock‑out tag‑out, hot work, confined space, and HECPS training preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to standing, moving, conveyors, hot/cold, wet/dry conditions, loud noise, and frequent reaching, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and bending. Lifting and carrying tasks may be required.
