Pay Range: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00

Base salary range for this position is $72,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year for employees hired in the Central Valley, CA. The pay range provided in this job posting represents the typical range or starting rate of candidates hired within the Central Valley region. Candidates hired in Southern California or Bay Area locations may have higher starting salaries due to cost of living and market data differences.

Summary

Position

As a Supervisor for Young Adult Programs, you will use your passion for helping people, your leadership skills, and your stabilizing presence to take ownership of the creative direction of your program. You will manage a dynamic group, rich with like‑minded professionals as you provide support, encouragement, and mentorship for staff working with at‑risk youth transitioning to adulthood.

Your primary responsibility is to build and manage a team to maximize impact with strength‑based and trauma‑informed service delivery. You will see the impact of your good work in the professional development of your team and the life‑changing growth of our clients.

Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff and volunteers
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive team environment
  • Plan and assign work to ensure effective service delivery
Program Management & Operations
  • When needed, manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely, organized, and effective service delivery based on individual needs and program requirements.
  • Oversee daily program operations and ensure alignment with goals and funding requirements
  • Monitor program performance, outcomes, and quality
  • Ensure compliance with contracts, regulations, and agency policies
  • Manage program resources within budget guidelines
Partnerships & Community Engagement
  • Attend program level networking meetings
  • Complete outreach, service promotion, and enrollment/registration activities
  • Liaison with partners, referring agencies and community entities
Data & Continuous Improvement
  • Track program data and use insights to guide decision‑making
  • Support program planning, evaluation, and reporting
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related counseling field and a minimum of two years’ experience in a public or private child welfare social services setting, or specific experience working with transition age youth who are 16 to 24 years of age
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid CA driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
