We are seeking a Member Experience & Retention Specialist to support member engagement, satisfaction, and retention initiatives throughout Fresno, Kings, and Madera Counties. This opportunity serves as a trusted resource for members by helping resolve barriers to care, connecting individuals with available resources, addressing concerns, and ensuring members have a positive experience with their health plan.

This is a field-based role supporting members throughout the service area. Travel will be driven by member needs. When not meeting with members or traveling within the community, the individual will work from the Fresno office.

• Build trusted relationships with members and assist with resolving healthcare-related concerns.
• Help members navigate healthcare services, benefits, appointments, and available community resources.
• Conduct outreach to current, former, and newly enrolled members.
• Support member satisfaction, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and internal departments to remove barriers to care.
• Document member interactions and appropriately elevate complex issues when needed.
• Participate in community outreach events, focus groups, and member engagement activities.
• Prepare monthly activity summaries and reports for leadership.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, managed care, member services, patient experience, customer service, or community outreach.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fresno, Kings, and Madera Counties.
