Vice President of Engineering

In just a few years, we’ve built a scalable AI platform used by leading global enterprises (Uber, Disney, Coca‑Cola, etc.). We move fast, stay pragmatic, and focus on delivering real, measurable value rather than hype.

We’re entering a critical growth phase and are looking for a hands‑on VP of Engineering to help professionalize, scale, and evolve our engineering organization. This is a highly technical leadership role for someone who still loves shipping code, solving hard problems, and setting strong engineering foundations.

You’ll report directly to the CTO and play a central role in shaping both the technical direction and the engineering culture of the company.

• Lead, scale, and mentor a high‑performing engineering team through hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Write and ship production code regularly; this is a hands‑on leadership role
• Partner closely with Product to define and execute the technical roadmap
• Improve engineering processes, workflows, and best practices
• Own architectural decisions and ensure long‑term system scalability and quality
• Collaborate with executive leadership on technical vision and prioritization
• Manage engineering budgets, resourcing, and capacity planning
• Drive system reliability, performance, and security across the full stack
• Establish strong engineering metrics and report progress and team health to leadership
• Foster a culture of accountability, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of engineering management experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Python or Type Script
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for software engineering, mentoring, and team development

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms
• Background in startup or high‑growth environments
• Open‑source contributions or meaningful side projects
