Junior Software Engineer Intern

• Collaborate closely with a small, cross‑functional team, including members of the Partner Success team, to ensure partner needs are clearly understood and met.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and outcomes clearly within the team and to relevant stakeholders.
• Build, maintain, and validate partner reports, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and reliable.
• Maintain and update partner databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor BI dashboards that surface educational data for partners, ensuring dashboards are accurate and refreshed on schedule.
• Assist in troubleshooting data quality issues and implementing fixes to improve reporting reliability.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate on code using standard branching and review practices.
• Write and maintain scripts and data workflows using Python, SQL, and command‑line tools.
• Work with Big Query (or similar data warehouses) to query, transform, and manage large datasets.
• Support the ongoing improvement and maintenance of documentation for systems, data pipelines, and processes in Notion.
• Follow established engineering and data best practices while continuing to learn and grow technical skills.

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development or a related field. Bachelor's degree a plus.
• 1+ year(s) of experience in software development and ability to learn quickly.
• History of work experience and collaboration, organizational skills and documentation.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
