Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $7,500 - $11,000/month
This is a full-time, exempt position.

The Fresno State Athletic Corporation provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, participation in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), and sick and vacation time. Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting in the evaluation, recruitment, training and coaching of student‑athletes to compete successfully against the highest level of NCAA intercollegiate competition in a quality sports program. The Assistant Coach is held directly accountable for these general responsibilities related to the assigned sports program: assist with the overall management and administration of the assigned sports program, compliance with the budget of the program, and the recruiting, training and performance of student‑athletes, as assigned by the Head Coach.

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and policies
• Coaching philosophy and teaching concepts must be compatible with those of the Head Coach
• Ability to work cooperatively with coaches, staff, faculty, students and members of the community
• Ability and willingness to support the diversity and equity commitments of the department
• Commitment to academic integrity and compliance with University, conference and NCAA regulations

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year institution
• Experience coaching football at the collegiate level in the NFL, or other professional football league.
• Must be immediately eligible to obtain a State of California driver’s license and must be able to comply with all university requirements pertaining to driving on university business. A background check of the candidate’s driving record will be required.
