Job Duties
- You will be responsible for component maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer maintenance manuals, Sky West GMM, and established shop procedures in the interest of flight safety.
- You will be responsible to becoming familiar with and understanding the GMM.
- You are responsible for your assigned work area in the shop to ensure that it is kept clean and free of hazards.
- Keep tools and support equipment in a clean, safe and operational condition at all times.
- You will be required to wear eye and ear protection as necessary to safeguard sight and hearing while using tools or operating machinery.
- Available to work any shift and overtime if necessary.
- Possess a valid unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
- Able to pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Read, write and understand English.
- Have mechanical experience and/or aptitude.
- Work well with others.
- Willing to work any shift assigned (Four 10 Hour Shifts) - days of the week to be determined.
- Willing to work weekend shift when needed.
- High School Diploma, GED, or education equivalent required.
- Be able to lift 75 lbs. from the floor to chest height with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.
- This is a full-time position, starting at $17.31 per hour.
