We are looking for reliable, safety-focused team members who enjoy hands‑on work in a fast‑paced outdoor environment.

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving and staging equipment and assets throughout the auction yard using forklifts and material handling equipment. This position plays an important role in preparing inventory for auction events while supporting daily yard operations.

This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone comfortable working outdoors and operating heavy equipment in an active yard environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load, unload and transport equipment, vehicles and assets within the yard
  • Stage equipment for inspections, photography and auction preparation
  • Assist with receiving incoming inventory and organizing yard layout
  • Support load‑in and load‑out during auction events
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain safe traffic flow and organized storage areas
  • Communicate with yard and operations teams regarding equipment movement
  • Identify and report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Accurately record all hours worked using the company timekeeping system
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support auction operations
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand and operate equipment for extended periods
  • Ability to climb on and off equipment throughout the day
  • Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and reach as needed
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Work Environment

Work is performed primarily outdoors in auction yards and equipment storage areas. Employees may be exposed to dust, noise, moving machinery, vehicle traffic and changing weather conditions. Personal protective equipment may be required.

Workplace Expectations
  • This is a non‑exempt hourly position eligible for overtime pay
  • Employees must accurately record all time worked and may not work off the clock
  • Meal and rest breaks are provided in accordance with applicable state law
  • Employees are expected to follow all safety rules and report hazards or injuries immediately
