Part Time Driver - Non CDL

TITLE: Non CDL Delivery Driver

DIVISION: Transportation

REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

Gold Star Foods is the leading food distributor to K-12 schools in the United States and is devoted to providing excellent customer service.

This position requires a dependable, safety-focused driver who is flexible and cooperative. The driver will be responsible for driving approximately 130 miles per day delivering to multiple locations.

• Ensure safety is the #1 focus within the operation
• Maintain safe operation of vehicles
• Deliver products promptly and accurately to customers
• Use pallet jacks and hand trucks for deliveries
• Break down pallets as needed and handle freight
• Deliver orders accurately and efficiently
• Record daily driver logs using an ELD

• Non-CDL Driver’s License
• Clean MVR
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Commitment to teamwork
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift 15-55 pounds
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods

• 1 year of recent delivery driving experience preferred
• High School Diploma
• Route Management experience a plus

Hourly Rate: $27.71
