Flight Attendant – Sky West Airlines

Sky West Airlines, the largest independently owned regional airline, is currently seeking dedicated individuals who take pride in delivering high quality service. We are looking for Flight Attendants who can maintain safety, provide exceptional customer service, and represent the Sky West brand on every flight.

• Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers onboard the aircraft.
• Create a positive and productive work environment for employees and customers.
• Efficiently prepare, serve, and restock in‑flight beverages, meals, snacks, and onboard merchandise.
• Greet passengers, assist with carry‑on baggage, and deliver onboard announcements.
• Provide leadership, direction, and assistance in emergency and non‑emergency situations.
• Calmly resolve passenger situations during flight, including disorderly passengers and medical emergencies.
• Inspect and operate aircraft cabin components, systems, and emergency equipment (escape slides, fire extinguishers, portable oxygen bottles, AEDs).
• Follow established procedures and performance standards without supervision.

• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. or foreign passport book valid for at least 12 months from the application date and any required visas for travel to the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas.
• Excellent English communication skills for safety information and reporting.
• Comfortable with basic electronic devices and PEDs for audio/video systems and purchase tracking.
• Willingness to work shifts up to 16 hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel frequently and spend extended periods alone without supervision.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to relocate to one of the assigned crew domiciles after successful completion of Sky West InFlight Training.

• Height between 5’0” and 6’0” (shoes removed); weight must allow safe aircraft operation.
• Physically able to perform tasks requiring walking, bending, reaching, operating emergency exits, moving beverage carts up to 250 pounds, and lifting items.
• Corrected visual acuity no worse than 20/40.
• Normal or corrected hearing within 15–17 kHz.
• Professional, neat, and clean appearance; no extreme hairstyles or colors.
• Single 2 mm (or smaller) nose piercing allowed (two per ear); other ear piercings or facial piercings not permitted.
• Visible tattoos allowed only with size and location guidelines; offensive tattoos prohibited.
• Uniform and face mask/covering required; appearance guidelines apply throughout training and career.

After completing phase one and two of Initial New Hire training, new hires receive a guaranteed 76 flight hours per month (paid), regardless of hours flown. Base pay is $30.32 per flight hour, with a potential per diem of $2.25 per hour on duty away from the domicile.
