Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $16.90 - $24.90 per hour. The hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums.

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts/products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect cash on delivery (COD) payments and pick up customer returns.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operating.
• Maintain secure handling of delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, devices, and collected monies.
• Pickup customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate any problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and help with merchandising tasks as business dictates.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Clean driving record meeting the company’s 14‑18‑point record system.
• Possession of a legally required state driver’s license and meeting company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements.

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Experience operating light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Bilingual candidates encouraged.
