Class A Line-Haul Driver

Reports To: Terminal Manager / Operations Manager

Ritchie Trucking Service Holdings, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A Line‑Haul Drivers to safely and efficiently transport freight between designated terminals and customer locations. This position is primarily responsible for long‑distance, terminal‑to‑terminal runs, often during evening or overnight hours, with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and on‑time delivery.

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company regulations
• Perform line‑haul freight transportation between terminals on scheduled routes
• Hook and drop trailers, including doubles and/or triples as required
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly
• Maintain accurate logbooks, trip reports, and required documentation (ELD, BOLs, etc.)
• Adhere to assigned schedules to ensure timely delivery and meet service commitments
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal staff, and operations management
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing the company
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Minimum 1+ years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements
• Must meet DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening requirements
• Ability to operate in night and/or overnight schedules
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally

• Line‑haul routes with regular, scheduled runs
• Evening, night, weekend, and holiday work may be required
• Home daily or on a predictable schedule, depending on route assignment
