Pay: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour

As an Ambassador for Airgas
, the Service & Delivery Professional takes pride in the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to our local and regional business partners. Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck, you will manage the flow of cylinders while building lasting relationships with the customers you visit.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCylinder Handling
:
Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.Record Keeping: Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
Safety and Compliance
:
Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.Warehouse Support: Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.
A Day in the Life of an Airgas Delivery Driver:
Required QualificationsValid Class A CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements
Hazmat IS REQUIRED. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE THEIR HAZMAT
Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements
No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment
Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.
Forklift experience
1 year of CDL experience
