Position Overview
Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Fresno, CA (Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment)
Work Authorization:
Only candidates authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship are eligible.
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities- Perform physical and/or administrative duties involved in shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging, and distributing equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar items.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, reject damaged goods, and input data into the inventory control system.
- Put away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehouse.
- Pull product from the warehouse to deliver to the production floor.
- Pick, wrap, and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers prior to final packing for shipment and affix identifying information to the packages.
- Use various shipping systems for Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS.
- Adjust to a fast‑paced and quickly changing environment.
- Assist in monthly inventory cycle counting.
- Operate forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods, as needed.
- Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.
- Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
- Receive and unpack materials and supplies.
- Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record‑keeping purposes.
- Complete shipping and receiving reports.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem‑solve as needed.
- Ability to operate or be trained on material‑handling equipment.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 35ft.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others understand.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating effectively in English.
- Regularly remain in a stationary position.
- Consistently operate machinery and handle print materials.
- Frequently move inside the facility.
- Regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50lb or more.
- Knowledge of operations of material‑handling equipment such as sit‑down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
The anticipated hourly wage is $18.
