Position
Shipping and Receiving Clerk – Taylor Warehouse & Fulfillment, Fresno, CA.
Shift1st Shift;
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
- Performs physical and/or administrative duties involved in shipping, handling, receiving, storing, counting, packaging and distributing equipment, materials, merchandise, and similar items.
- Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages, rejects damaged goods, and enters entries into the inventory control system.
- Put away and manage raw and finished goods inventory in the warehouse.
- Pulls product from the warehouse to deliver to the production floor.
- Pick, wrap and pack products in boxes, cartons, and other containers prior to final packing for shipment and affixes identifying information to the packages.
- Uses various shipping systems for Fed Ex, UPS, and USPS.
- Adjusts to a fast‑paced, quickly changing environment.
- Assists in monthly inventory cycle counting.
- MAY operate a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Performs other warehouse and shipping duties as needed.
- Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment.
- Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
- Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
- Reports damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement, and record‑keeping purposes.
- Completes shipping and receiving reports.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to work independently and problem‑solve as needed.
- Ability to operate or be trained on material handling equipment.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 35 feet.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products, including print materials.
- Frequently required to move inside the facility.
- Regularly moves up to 50+ pounds (lift, push, pull, and/or carry).
- Knowledge of operations of material handling equipment such as sit‑down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
Hourly wage $18, with the actual base offered depending on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
