- Supervise day-to-day operations of warehouse, including: receiving, put away, transfers, restock and conversion.
- Supervise and develop warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations.
- Ensure proper execution and implementation of all policies and procedures with regard to picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Maintain a safe working and clean environment throughout the warehouses and surrounding area.
- Monitor employee productivity and implement systems to improve service.
- Responsible for orientation and training of employees.
- Hold team accountable to company policies:
Attendance, safety first mentality. - Work with operation managers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution.
- Maintain audit documentation for MRO and Dry Goods inventory counts.
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
- Train and evaluate warehouse staff on effective inventory techniques and daily tasks.
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss.
- Ensure all equipment, including but not limited to forklifts and pallet jacks, is properly maintained and inspection practices are followed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Four years Warehouse Management experience required.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional relationship with all coworkers, vendor representatives, supervisors, and managers.
- Ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees.
- Ability to use all relevant electronic and communication devices.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in warehouse/distribution center operations.
- Be able to analyze data associated with processes, identifying opportunities, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test, as applicable for the role.
