ABOUT

THE ROLE

The Trainer will train and develop new and existing warehouse employees on standard operating procedures and safety processes and procedures. The Trainer and all employees at S&S Activewear and all employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION

Monday - Friday, Full-time, non-exempt

$17.50 hourly

WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Training and development of warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP's

* Responsible for stock chaser/ Equipment training and Certification safety and operation.

* Provide the company tour to new employees

* Responsible for Evaluate / Audit employees in training and communicate issues ASAP.

* Identify training needs and communicate them to the training coordinator

* Troubleshoot issues with tablets.

* Document the training by completing all required paperwork

* Perform other duties as assigned

* Act professionally and remain focused while working

* Safely operate all warehouse equipment

* Perform cleaning activities as required

* Follow and promote all safety rules, maintain a safe warehouse.

* Maintain a positive attitude

* Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

* Must be in good standing

* Excellent attendance and performance

* Training experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.

* Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills

* Ability to communicate and explain processes effectively

* Ability to read and speak English

* Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals

* Basic computer skills

* People oriented

* Detail oriented

* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

* Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when required

* Bilingual preferred but not required

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

In performing this job, the employee must stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Additionally, the position requires frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs.
