Position:
Group Coordinator Lead
Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Tuesday 1 pm - 9:30 pm with overtime based on business needs.
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Shift differential: $0.75 per hour
The core responsibilities of this role include leading daily recoup, damage processing and hazardous waste operations while ensuring compliance with DHL standards, system accuracy and safety regulations. This role combines system execution with hands‑on operational support in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
- Lead and support recoup and damage processing activities within the operation.
- Process damaged products in systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain item family locations within the WMS.
- Execute over‑labeling projects, including creating and printing new labels.
- Rework damaged product and complete required physical conversions.
- Ensure proper identification, handling, and disposal of waste based on established waste codes.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and hazardous material handling requirements.
- Support inventory integrity through accurate system transactions and physical product handling.
- Coordinate daily workflow and provide guidance to team members as needed.
Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day‑to‑day direction and guidance to the work group. Responsible for daily workloads.
Key Accountabilities- Conduct training for new associates.
- Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
- Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
- Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
- Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self‑corrected.
- Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
Education and Experience
- 6–12 months warehouse experience.
- 6–12 months forklift operation experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift‑training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred.
