Warehouse Parts Puller

• Accurately pull, pack and ship orders to customers while maintaining the integrity of the warehouse inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pull, pack and set up orders for delivery or pick up.
• Follow any special instructions pertaining to and individual order if ever required.
• Keep track of smaller quantities of product for smaller customer orders, small package shipments are standard.
• Pull parts following FIFO as required.
• Report any inventory discrepancies to Shipping Supervisor/Warehouse Manager for immediate addressing.
• Communicate positively with fellow workers.
• Assist in keeping the area clean, neat and safe.
• Assist in physical inventory process as needed.
• Follow the Punctuality and Attendance Policy by being regular and prompt.
• Follow all safety requirements per company policies and Cal-OSHA regulations.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning safety and employment.
• Follows ISO, IATF and all other applicable procedures and company rules and policies.
• Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Good math and reading skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and weekend work occasionally required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and with diplomacy.
• Must become forklift certified with 3 months of starting position to fulfill the essential duties and responsibilities.
• The ability to have regular and prompt attendance.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• This position requires standing for long hours a day on cement floor unless performing non-standing duties.
• Work in hot and cold conditions.
• The employee is regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, and hear.
• Must be mobile and able to move around regularly. Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to move product by carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead and bending to the floor. Manual dexterity.
• Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, ability to distinguish colors, and able to hear.
• The employee is frequently required to use their hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend or crouch.
• Sit long periods on a forklift.
• Work in hot and cold conditions.
