We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day volume of our accounting operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing a high volume of daily transactions across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payable
- Enter credit card charges into Quick Books and gather supporting receipts
- Review and enter AP bills, with a focus on manufacturing-related invoices.
- Prepare account summary and reconciliation as needed
- Record wire payments and associated wire fees related to AP
Accounts Receivable & Collections
- Enter daily cash receipts received through Stripe, ACH, and incoming wire transfers
- Review and process, credit memos for RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) transactions
- Proactively review account statements; follow up on outstanding balances
Reporting & Month-End Close
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end journal entries, closing procedures, and reports
- Assist with daily reports including Micro Count, Accessory, and P&L
- Support sales tax research and reporting
- Assist the management team with other reports as needed
General & Administrative
- Manage ordering and tracking of office supplies
- Assist with organizing team lunches and office events
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2–4 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or AP/AR role
- Proficiency in Quick Books (Online or Desktop)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high transaction volumes
- Self-starter who can work independently and stay organized without heavy oversight
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
