PositionInformation
This is an 8 hour/day position, scheduled to work 260 days per year. The starting hourly rate is $23.61 per hour. This position is fully benefit eligible. Please review the full contract and benefits offered.
Nature of WorkIncumbents are responsible for performing standard clerical and office support. Responsibilities may include: answering phones and directing calls; greeting visitors; sorting and distributing mail; and maintaining records and reports.
Typical Class Responsibilities- Reception duties: greeting students and visitors in person or over the telephone; answering phones and directing calls; maintaining visitor security procedures, logs, and badges; and notifying staff of visitor arrivals.
- Routine clerical duties: receiving and distributing mail and packages; maintaining employee mailroom mailboxes; filing, faxing, copying, and printing; setting up meetings; maintaining office supplies; and issuing and maintaining parking permits.
- Other duties of a similar nature or level.
High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)

Positions in this class typically require reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Sedentary work may involve lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to move objects. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
