Summary. Could also be just part-time worship.

Planning Services:

• Picking songs/arrangements and pulling music
• Updating Planning Center

Weekly Execution:

• Hold mid-week rehearsal and Sunday morning rehearsal
• Sunday service

Long Term Goals:

• Introduce new songs/arrangements while at the same time maintaining ties to rich songs of the past
• Seek to utilize the breadth of musicians that are available empowering people to use their gifts
• Evaluate music ministry needs and explore solutions. Examples could include:
  • Technology
  • Need for more instrumentalists in certain areas

• A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him that meets all qualifications for leadership referenced in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Exhibit a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit
• Commitment to personal and active participation in the fulfillment of the Great Commission
• Exhibit a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with integrity in all situations
• Exemplify the humility of Christ and a loving, servants heart in all facets of leadership
• Demonstrate a personal passion to minister to people within the context of the local church
• Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and volunteers
• Self-motivated and able to initiate projects, work independently and troubleshoot
• Possess a high attention to detail
• Have experience leading worship on Sunday mornings
• Ideally (but not a requirement) would have experience leading choir and orchestra and including orchestral elements with the Sunday worship team (or a willingness to learn and grow in this area).

Grace Fridley has a rich history of fine music for over the past three decades. While the music will undoubtedly look different, the desire is to maintain periodic orchestral and choral elements.

Grace Evangelical Free Church, or “Grace Fridley,” is a bustling church in the north Twin Cities metro.
