**** Principle Responsibilities
*** Provide direct patient care on an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit to a diverse population
* Develops behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders
* Consults with providers to assist with ongoing management of the behavioral health needs of their patients.
** Required Qualifications
*** Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an approved school of medicine
* Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training
** Licenses/Certifications
*** MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required
* BE/BC with completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited Residency training program in Psychiatry or foreign equivalency training
* Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)
* Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)
* Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable
* BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire
