The successful candidate must have earned a B.A. or B.S. degree and holds or is eligible for a Minnesota State Licensure in Elementary Education. Additional demonstrated qualifications include a commitment to the equitable education of all students, creative planning and organizational skills, and highly effective interpersonal skills. The candidate must also be able to successfully implement the responsibilities of the position overview listed above and be fluent in Spanish and English.

Preferred candidates have demonstrated excellence in collaboration with colleagues, enthusiasm for working with students, a commitment to ongoing learning evidenced by graduate-level work or an earned degree, participation in professional organization conferences or seminars related to the content area, and experience working with diverse learners.
