- Responsible for the management of the instructional program for assigned students.
- Responsible to establish and maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and assist in the same throughout the building.
- Responsible for the assessment of student progress.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal.
- Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited.
- Minnesota Department of Education teaching license required for Special Education.

BA, Step 1 at $46,802/yr to PhD, Step 17 at $100,964/yr, placement will vary depending on education and experience.
