Overview
Language and Literature (English) Teacher (SY ) – Fridley High School. Full-time (1.0 FTE). First duty day:
August 24, 2026; new teacher workshop week of August 17, 2026. Job .
Responsible for the management of the instructional program for assigned students, establishing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and throughout the building, assessing student progress, and performing duties assigned by the building principal.

- Responsible for the assessment of student progress.
- Responsible for other duties as assigned by the building principal which are necessary to fulfill the basic function of the position and are consistent with the Master Agreement.
- Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited.
- Minnesota Department of Education teaching license required for the specific assignment.
BA, Step 1 at $51,599/yr to PhD, Step 17 at $111,313/yr; placement will vary depending on education and experience.
