Position Overview
Providing daily subbing in a variety of classes for the balance of each day. Must meet students where they are, assess their growth, and keep the student at the center of all decisions and practices. This position is for the school year. The first teacher duty day is August 24th, with new teacher workshop the week of August 17th.

Location- Assignment location will be determined based on district needs.
- Individuals serving as building substitute teachers may be assigned on a daily basis, based on needs of the district.
- Flexibility in placement is required.
- Responsible for creating and delivering an effective instructional program for assigned students.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to learning within the classroom and assisting in the same throughout the building.
- Responsible for the assessment of student progress.
- Responsible for collaborating with the teaching and learning department, principals, parents, IB coordinators, other staff and professional learning communities to ensure student needs are being met.
- Hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university that is accredited.
- Minnesota Department of Education teaching license required in Special Education.
