Position Overview

2026. This role is Sustaining Engineer
II supporting a production line that builds cardiovascular combination products in Fridley, MN. The position is full‑time, inperson, and requires willingness to relocate if not within commuting distance.
- Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assembly of combination products supporting cardiovascular therapies.
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce production scrap.
- Investigate and disposition nonconforming product.
- Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes through statistical process control.
- Provide guidance regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Design sequence of operations and specify procedures for product manufacture.
- Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree and minimum of 0 years relevant experience.
- Experience with software and/or automation (desired).
- Operations/Manufacturing experience with desire to improve existing processes.
- Experience with problem‑solving methodologies (e.g., DMAIC) and ability to lead problem‑solving team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience reporting to leadership.
- Experience with statistical software such as JMP or Minitab (desired).
Salary range: $81,600 – $122,400
USD (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico). Eligible for short‑term incentive MIP. Benefits include:
