Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First:
Champion a culture of safety, ensuring it remains a core value in all operations. - Collaborative Problem-Solving:
Work closely with our leadership team and field experts to troubleshoot and resolve challenges related to safety, maintenance, production, quality, and delivery. - Daily Operations Oversight:
Supervise the daily activities of maintenance technicians and the maintenance shop to guarantee the optimal performance of production equipment. - Technical Expertise:
Utilize your general mechanical aptitude in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulics, pumps, and piping to enhance operational efficiency. - Financial Acumen:
Manage financial budget planning and oversight to ensure responsible resource allocation. - Supplier Relations:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to support our operational goals. - Project Management:
Lead engineering and capital projects, including budget creation, contractor management, and ensuring timely project execution. - Continuous Improvement:
Support and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives (kaizens) to enhance processes and performance. - Work Order Management:
Leverage plant CMMS to create, assign, and schedule work orders effectively. - Preventative Maintenance:
Drive a robust preventative maintenance program aimed at minimizing reactive maintenance and maximizing uptime. - Scheduled Maintenance Collaboration:
Partner with production teams to strategically schedule downtime for preventative maintenance tasks. - Mechanical Integrity Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive mechanical integrity program. - Compliance Leadership:
Create procedures that align with Quality Management System (QMS) policies. - Management of Change:
Lead and execute Management of Change (MOC) processes. - Hands-On Support:
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance repair activities to minimize production downtime.
- Required:
3 years of management experience in an industrial maintenance setting . - Preferred: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
- Preferred:
Experience with SAP ERP and MVPOne CMMS. - Preferred:
Familiarity with the chemical industry and batch processing technologies is a plus.
