Manufacturing Engineer

In this dynamic role, you will represent the Operations team and effectively execute new or ongoing project tasks. Leveraging a cross‑functional team, you will drive the timely completion of tasks across project types, including gross margin initiatives, regulatory requirements, process improvements, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Lead recurring cross‑functional team meetings to track project task execution—including preparing agenda, facilitating discussion, taking and distributing minutes.
  • Monitor known risks and escalates technical and logistical roadblocks.
  • Facilitate working sessions among core team members.
  • Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
  • Arrange machines within plant facilities to ensure an efficient and productive layout.
  • Design the sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment.
  • Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
  • Incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
  • Inspect performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective action for problems and deficiencies.
  • Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control; may develop those techniques.
  • Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience managing and leading projects that involve balancing risk, influencing diverse teams, and accountability for outcomes.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience drafting digital tools for modeling.
  • Foreign‑degree holders must meet 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) requirements.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with medical device or other regulated industry.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with statistical process control techniques.
  • Experience with SAP and drafting digital modeling tools.
