Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Monday through Friday varying shifts.

M‑F 9:30-6 / 10-6:30 / 11-8:30

OT not required but may be offered occasionally.

Experience:

1+ years

LOCAL PAY: $60-$65/hr

WEEKLY PAY PACKAGE: (resides more than 50 miles)

Weekly Tax Free Stipend to be paid: $1,162.00

Weekly Straight Pay (Taxable) $1,720.00

Weekly Gross $2,882.00

Job Description

Monday through Friday varying shifts.

M‑F 9:30-6 / 10-6:30 / 11-8:30

OT not required but may be offered occasionally.

Not a requirement but IV experience would be a plus.

  • Accept and dispense prescription medications.
  • Monitor patient medication compliance and over‑usage patterns.
  • Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law.
  • Ensure that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
  • Accurately maintain confidential records of all patients and ensure proper management of patient records and pharmacy files.
  • Advise patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur, and answer patients’ questions.
  • Provide consultation on prescription and non‑prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Provide services to patients, such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement and cholesterol management.
  • Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices such as blood pressure monitor and glucose meters.
  • Compound medications for external or internal use.
  • Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff members including pharmacy technicians, pharmacy clerks, etc.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
  • Identify patient drug‑related problems and effectively communicate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
  • Work in conjunction with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, pharmacy interns, etc.

Doctor of Pharmacy degree required. Licensed by the state pharmacy board.
