1:1 Personal Care Assistant / PCA (Fridley, MN)

- Male Caregiver Only

• Monday - 6:30am - 8:45am
  - Needs assistance with getting dressed and ready for work.
• Tuesday - 8am - 2pm
  - Needs the PCA to go to his home and get him ready for swim class and ride along to Camp Kenny. While there, the PCA would provide assistance to the client along with possibly going into the pool with him, if possible, but not required.

• We are looking for a compassionate male Personal Care Assistant to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patient’s homes in accordance with an established care plan. We can offer flexible scheduling to accommodate preferred hours.

• Responsibilities
• Provide health care services in patient's residence
• Perform domestic and household tasks (i.e., light housekeeping & laundry)
• Assist with client’s personal care activities (showering, dressing, etc.)
• Maintain patients care records and document provided services
• Able to help client get dressed for swimming and able to go into the water with the client.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Skills and Requirements
• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• Proficiency in English
• Caring and compassionate personality
• Helpful Skills
• Proven working experience as Personal Care Assistant including bathing and toileting.
