American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a teaching hospital setting requiring ARRT-R certification and a minimum of 1 year of MRI experience.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in MRI required
ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
License required if applicable
Experience required in Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Community Hospital, and Adult ICU settings
IV start skills required
Experience with 1.5 Siemens Avanto scanner required
Epic/Excellian charting experience required

Responsibilities

Acute care teaching hospital with Level 4 trauma designation and 149 staffed beds
MRI department with a daily caseload of 12 patients per tech in 1 room
Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 5x8 hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
Occasional weekend coverage as needed per department needs
On-call required every Wednesday 11:00 PM-6:30 AM and every 3rd weekend
Will float between two Mercy campuses (Coon Rapids and Unity) as needed
Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system
Works with 1.5 Siemens Avanto MRI scanner
Dark gray scrub color required
First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Local candidates accepted for this radiology position
Ideally no more than 5 days of requested RTO during the assignment
Returning employees must have been gone at least 3 months since their last shift worked as staff or per diem
Free parking available in any unrestricted space
Candidates may float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
