Supply Chain Manager – $96,000 - $120,000 per year
We have been a leading manufacturer of seals and rubber products since 1955. Our capabilities include in‑house tool shop and mold design for quick prototyping of injection, compression and transfer tools, compound development and a material test lab with over 1000 existing formulations.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, supplier management, inventory planning, and supply‑chain operations within a complex manufacturing environment. This high‑impact leadership role reports directly to the President and serves as a key member of the company’s strategic leadership team.
The ideal candidate brings a strong manufacturing supply‑chain background, experience leading purchasing teams, and a passion for continuous improvement, supplier development and operational excellence.

- Lead all purchasing and supply‑chain activities across the organization
- Oversee MRP planning, inventory management, demand forecasting and production planning
- Ensure material availability while balancing inventory levels and cash flow objectives
- Maintain supplier pricing, lead times, product configurations and inventory parameters
- Manage and mentor purchasing team members and buyers
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements
- Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and qualify new suppliers, products and services
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality and regulatory requirements
- Develop and track key performance indicators for the supply‑chain organization
- Partner closely with operations, sales, engineering, quality and finance teams
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality and delivery performance
- Support technology improvements and business process optimization
- Play a key leadership role in the selection, implementation and optimization of a new ERP system
- Help design and build scalable processes that will support the business for years to come
- 10+ years of supply‑chain, purchasing or procurement leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong experience with MRP systems, inventory management, forecasting and supplier management
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience working within ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100 or similar quality systems
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial manufacturing environment
- Postsecondary degree required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business or a related field
- ERP implementation experience
- Experience leading teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
